Bakhchisaray (Crimea) attractions

Bakhchisaray (Crimea) reminiscent of Cappadocia in Turkey with its valleys and stone figures.

This is a must-see if you like walking and ancient cities:

•     Cufut Qale - you can drive up by car almost under the very entrance to the territory. Entrance fee. Visiting time is 3-4 hours. Tourist place.
•     Tepe-Kermen - only a hike. There / back about 7 hours. Few people know about this city and few people go to visit it. So if you go, you can enjoy the nature without the crowds.

Bakhchisaray is divided into two parts - old and new regions. The old Bakhchisaray is located in the lowlands. So if you go to the top of the mountain, you can walk along the old region of Bakhchisaray. There are maps with hiking routes sold everywhere in the city. The road to Tepe-Kermen starts behind the old Bakhchisaray and goes along the summer cottages. There is only one road, but sometimes you can see the signs. The nature here is beautiful, there are a lot of coniferous trees.

Both ancient cities are poorly preserved, everything is almost destroyed. But everywhere you can see gorgeous panoramas. To visit Bakhchisarai better in late May or in September, so as not to catch the scorching sun and rain.
