This article is dedicated in memory of our beloved and faithful friend! Yuna was a true dog traveler. And on December 3, 2022, she went on her last journey - to the rainbow!!! She was 9,5 years old. With this review I want to help someone, cheer someone up, and inspire someone!
A pet is a full-fledged member of the family and now that she is gone, only one thought torments my soul, well, why so early(((( Yuna's beginning of life was not very happy, and the end is so sad.... But she lived her life in love and joy!!! She was 9 years old, and everyone gave her the age of 6 months!!! By appearance and behavior she was a puppy) By behavior I mean cheerfulness and liveliness of behavior. Because the character of our girl was malicious to say the least) Strangers she did not recognize, and with which of the dogs to sniff chose only she and it was really only the chosen))))
Yuna was a noblewoman, yard terrier or mixed breed dog. But this is only in appearance, because in behavior it was a pedigree diva of royal blood) Sometimes, people even brought Yuna as an example to their young children, saying: "look dog, smarter / more obedient than you"....

Yuna's life story begins in May - June 2013. She was named after the month when God gave her to us as a DAR - Juno / Juna (June)!!! And as it turns out Juno is the name of the ancient Roman goddess of marriage and birth, family and family decrees, motherhood, women and female productive power. So by chance they gave a great name for a great dog!
It was an ordinary working day on June 17, 2013. There was another lunchtime traffic jam of cars in the center of the city of Dnipro. Suddenly a woman from one car began to shout loudly that a dog was sticking out from under the hood, on top of the wheels of the shuttle bus.... The driver immediately got out and pulled the tiny puppy, who was unconscious, out of there. He thought it was dead and just put it on the ground near the trash can (good thing it wasn't in the trash...). It was hard to watch...so I walked further down the street to my parked car. After walking almost a block, a guy I knew caught up with me. So this guy passed not much later than me the place where the puppy was lying. I said, "Is he dead? And the guy answered - he is alive, but beats in convulsions..... Then I couldn't stand it and we ran back for the puppy. When we saw that the puppy was twitching, we took him to the hospital, but on the way the convulsions were weakening and he was quiet.... At the clinic, the doctor took him at once, the whole line was silent. The doctor said that the puppy's body temperature was 42 degrees and most likely it was death convulsions. But he administered the drugs he thought necessary, including a drug that shut down the puppy's nervous system. The doctor said: if the puppy wakes up in the morning, it will live. The puppy was left overnight at the clinic. At 9am, by the time the clinic opened, I was already standing at the door. And I was brought out a closed box and told that the puppy came to himself, but he is all in vomit and diarrhea - a strong odor .... I opened the box and then this little miracle jumped out with his front paws on top of the box. His eyes looked as if they wanted to say thank you, mom..... The puppy's condition was described as extremely critical and quick action was required. At that point I had to turn to the animal welfare fund to pay for all the treatment and maintenance. It was very expensive to keep the puppy in the clinic, the money was better spent on drips and injections. The fund helped to raise money to pay for the treatment, but I had to keep him at home. To further reduce costs, the clinic put in a catheter and taught me how to put in IVs. So we started to treat the puppy and at the same time to post information everywhere to get him somewhere.... For the headline at that time we chose the name "puppy SUV". So a week of treatment was coming to an end and no one was there to take him. The relief fund said that there are no critical problems and they stop allocating money, as there are other urgent people, although the puppy collected at that time many times more money than was spent on it. People in social networks turned out to be very responsive and gave the puppy as much as they could, but in the end a good amount of money was collected. On that note, we had a fight with the animal foundation. It was the second week and the puppy was getting stronger. The date of my birth was approaching and we were going to go on vacation to the Crimea ... And then it dawned on us, so this is my birthday present))))) We gave the puppy the name Yuna and we officially had a new member of the family) The doctor estimated the age of the teeth - Yuna was about 2 months old. When we poured milk, put cottage cheese, pieces of meat... and she does not eat. and she wouldn't eat. We smeared her nose with milk and then we realized - she still sucked only a tit. So we started feeding her from a syringe and put pieces of cheese and meat in her mouth with a finger. While treating these two weeks were all the time with her. And when we came to the sea, we left her in the room and tried to go out..... When we went out the door, what started here - howling, barking, squeaking, whining..... In the end, we alternated and went swimming one by one)))))) Thankfully, we were with our parents and were able to take turns with Yuna. It was impossible to take her to the beach, she was still weak. But the first night at sea, we realized that she is on the mend) At night we woke up from the fact that the blanket crawled on the floor independently))))) When we got up this little naughty girl threw the blanket and pretended that it was not her. We lay down again and then Yuna started whining..... We realized she was awake and bored! I lay down on the couch next to her and hung down and stroked her. This satisfied Yuna completely and completely - we all fell asleep)))))) And so our happy life began!
The point of this story is that:
- you don't have to buy a dog - a pedigree dog can give you so much joy that you don't even expect!
- If someone needs help, don't hesitate to help!!!
- if something is meant to be, the whole universe will favor it - don't resist!!!!
And yes - DREAM!!! Dreams come true! But remember "water does not flow under a lying stone". It is not enough just to dream, you need to act when the time comes of course) Everything has its time and everything has a term - nothing and no one is eternal! Love and you will be loved in return! Yuna loved us very much and we knew it ... She knew how to smile when we met her - she grinned her teeth, imitating our smile. Her emotions manifested themselves in the form of - lick, poke her nose and of course throw her paws up on her owner) This all happens when the dog's blood endorphins are off the charts, at the sight of their owners)))))
Yuna lived most of her life in Dnipro. That's why she has visited a lot of local sights) Yuna has been to the Maldives, though Volnogorsk, she has been to the desert, though Znamenskaya near Novomoskovsk. Shallow water, sand and green grass are Yuna's favorite places for walks!
Yuna, when she didn't want to eat, could take food in her mouth and make it look like she had eaten it)) It's about when she begged for something beforehand, they gave it to her and she decided it wasn't good))))) That's a travesty...but she asked for it...so she would start to be sly, like "I ate it"))
As it happens, since childhood we have learned one funny command - "meerkat". The team is of no use, but it's fun for everyone).
Yuna could only bathe in a river or a puddle) She did not respect the sea and waves. Her main reason for going into the water was to lick the water and if it was salty, she lost interest in the water instantly).
Yuna's spring weekends in Odessa were great!!!
A dog traveler in Montenegro
Yuna traveled all over Montenegro up and down in April - May 2022! "Being a cat at heart" to make Yuna swim in Montenegro we could not) The waves really repelled her. And the water in spring is quite cold. But on the mountains and ancient ruins she galloped like a "mountain goat" with great pleasure!

Yuna was in Croatia in June 2022. The sun was already blazing here, and Yuna didn't like the heat) She always looked for shade.

Yuna visited Poland in September 2022. And here was another favorite activity - face in the sand! While racing through the sand, it was in her eyes, nose, mouth and didn't bother her at all) The joy of sand is just too much!

Yuna visited Austria in October 2022. And here she for the first time tried a muzzle, without which was not allowed on funiculars. Oh how many caprices, tantrums and offenses were because of this muzzle)))))) If in the muzzle she at least sat offended, but to go in it flatly refused .... But nevertheless, we managed to visit many viewpoints high in the mountains).

Yuna lived in Prague for a couple months. But what months they were!!! Yuna loved to race on green lawns, climb on bushes, and come home and sleep in a soft bed).
The idea to write this article came as a desire to show love to Yuna and to remind ourselves once again that Yuna had a good time with us.... that we were able to fulfill her expectations... because she chose us at the right time and came "out of the blue". She left quietly, without saying a word, only touched my hand with her paw, as if to say - it's ok - if you love her, let her go....
Tips for dog owners
- treat in spring and fall against ticks in advance and only with proven preparations! Once we delayed the treatment, it seemed that it was still cold .... And then we had to remove the tick and give injections. The second time we bought a cheap drug and again the same story ... Drops Frontline combo - the best drug. After every walk, during periods of tick activity, comb out the entire coat with a fine-toothed comb. Beforehand, rub your hands all over the dog, especially behind the ears. If you are outdoors for a long time, then feel your dog once every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Drops from ticks do not fully protect from ticks, they only distances the moment of a bite, therefore it is better to remove ticks mechanically.
- unsterilized and unspayed bitches may develop false puberty after heat. Dostinex (reduces prolactin levels, a quarter of a tablet for 15 kg - once a week, can be repeated after a week) will help to relieve the symptoms. In a particularly acute period of vomiting, weakness, refusal to eat and whining at toys - diet without food and water for a couple of days, remove all toys and distract with walks and chuhanya. But once the dog is back to normal. make sure you sterilize it. After 7 years, even if there have been no false puppies, still sterilize (if she hasn't given birth). It was this problem that was fatal for Yuna. The doctors made the correct diagnosis with a 1.5 day delay..... Initially diagnosed with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and she had purulent endometritis. Surgery was done after the correct diagnosis was made at another clinic, but Yuna didn't have enough strength and 3 days after surgery she passed away(
