In Cappadocia, choosing a hotel is task number two for the traveler (number one is choosing a city)

It is believed that the best hotels in Cappadocia are the cave type rooms. However, this is a broad PR move, for which the locals charge enormous money (from 100 euros per night, 2019). Bottom line for what? - To feel like a caveman? If you do decide to take a "cave", find out whether there are windows ... After arriving at the area to choose what you would like. Lots of accommodation! Do not worry - you will find it. Even in the season, we were in late May, the choice of housing is not difficult. During the walk we just went where we liked and booked a couple of days. You can also rest in different hotels for a couple of days, well, as a last resort). The most convenient hotels in the town of Guereme seemed to us those that are located along the road to the observation deck (landmark flag of Turkey on the mountain). The ascent begins from the mosque. The convenience lies in the close access to:
- an all-way bus stop
- Main promenade
- observation deck
Prices with adequate value for money start from 50-60 euros per night (2019, breakfast chic included). The first day was booked at the hotel for 45 euros, but very unhappy with the service - breakfast "third class - not marriage", the room - "doghouse". The views in the hotel were gorgeous! In Cappadocia it is better to choose a hotel a little bit more expensive, it is worth it!
Don't look for an all-inclusive hotel. Breakfast should be at the hotel. Lunch and dinner at the hotel will bind you to time. Cappadocia is a place of freedom and independence from time! Walk around, enjoy the "alien" views. The cafes everywhere are very tasty and quite inexpensive)
