Taromske Quarry in Dnipro

Taromske Quarry in Dnipro consists of two pits. From Dnipro, drive along Zavodska Embankment to Parus, turn left as shown on the map below, and then follow the only road toward Sukhachivka. The road is excellent all the way. The entire territory of the abandoned granite quarry is enclosed by a concrete fence on the side of the road. We drive along this fence, as marked on the second map below. There is a "hole" in it (photo below). In some places there are probably also footpaths over the fence. There is no open entry for cars. Inside, everything is abandoned, with a pile of old ruined buildings. The quarry itself has steep cliffs.

There is absolutely nothing to do here in winter. Wind and cold) In the warm season you can walk along the paths and go down to the bank of the Dnipro. You can also stroll along the upper edge of the quarry, the views are decent. There is nothing more to do here. We do not recommend making a special trip.
