Is Venice worth the trip?

Venice or mass psychosis, there's no other word for it. The proclamation of the beauty and uniqueness of the place draws tourists from all over the world! Is it so beautiful there and is it worth the trip?

Going here, we knew it was an old town, etc. But that there is dirt, rubbish, basements and urine all around!!!! The houses are old, not in the sense of beautiful shabby antiquity, but in the sense of crumbling and crumbling, outlined by street "masters"... There is no aesthetic pleasure unambiguously!

If you have a tour in Europe, it is worth to come here, of course, but for one day no more. Especially to fly here for a week of "relaxation" is definitely not worth it.
