Moraca Canyon, Tara, Lake Piva is convenient to visit at the place of Piva mountain pass and the park Durmitor.

•     Mratinje Dam ⭐⭐⭐⭐
•     Panoramic platform "Piva River Canyon" and the bridge over the Piva River (behind the dam, towards Bosnia-Herzegovina) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Plužine embankment and Etno selo Izlazak we did not see. They can be seen from afar, there is nothing to do there or there. Also tourists still look in the region Piva monastery.

Immediately after Pluzine, there is a road across the bridge and after the bridge turn right into the serpentine. Each turn is a new view of the canyon, but the landmark is an observation deck with 1 gazebo, where you can eat in nature. There is no equipped parking anywhere. Along the road from Pluzine to the dam, not everywhere and stop, full of tunnels, made by "knee" / "dug with spoons". There is no lighting in the tunnels, but they are all short. Near the dam is still only a small patch for 1 car. There is no other place to park. How to go here in the season is not particularly clear) But the dam is necessary to go out to understand all the power!

Panoramic site "Piva River Canyon" and the bridge over the Piva River - gorgeous views that few people know about. If you drive towards Bosnia-Herzegovina, behind the dam is the bridge over the Piva River. If you go further, you will get a view of this bridge from the side. The main thing is not to go further, otherwise you will get to the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina) Time to visit Piva Lake and all panoramic points at least 2 hours, then you can go to the park Durmitor one of the two routes below: through Piva pass or through Lake Susichko. The first route is preferred, the second is if you have already traveled on the first)

Route #1: Piva Canyon viewpoint - Pivska saddle - Zabljak (travel is possible from late May / early June to October)

Piva Saddle is a mountain pass in the north of Montenegro and the most picturesque place

It's so beautiful that you can't describe it, you have to go! The Beer Pass is cleared at the end of May. You have to keep this in mind, because you can't drive here at all without breaking through the snow! Many tourists go here in the summer when the snow has melted, but this is not it!!! You need to come here in the first few days after the snow has been pierced / cleared from the Beer Saddle. This is when you see the maximum contrast that it is the snow that creates. You can see all the power of the natural element - the winter of winter. The whole road is a solid panorama and view all the time. Only conventionally allocated panoramic point, which is called "Beer saddle. There is a picture frame, you will not get mixed up) The name is taken from the appearance of the mountains, which fit into this picture frame) Travel time of 1.5 hours.

Route #2: Piva Canyon viewpoint - Mratinje Dam - Vidikovac kanjon Susice - Sušičko jezero - Žabljak (travel possible from March to October)

This route is an alternative, not mandatory. It is cleaned a little bit earlier than the Pivskoje saddle. As a result, you can take this route in April for example, and visit the Piva Pass at the end of May.

Panorama on the canyon Tara (Vidikovac Kanjon Tare / Viewpoint Tara Canyon) - Sušičko jezero - Panorama on the canyon of the river Susica (Vidikovac kanjon Susice) - this route is less known, but no less beautiful. Journey time is about 2 hours. This route is cleaned after the winter tentatively in March. In the twenties of May there is almost no snow. When you are driving on this route, be sure to add Trsa village to the itinerary, so the navigator will not take you to the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina) This route makes sense when lake Susichko is full-flowing, and it is possible only from March to June. Since Susichko Lake is filled because of the melting of snow from the mountains and dries up completely in the summer.

Being in Durmitor, it would be logical to visit Pivskoe Lake. By the way, when the roads are not cleared, then from Zhablyak you should go back to Shavnik, and from there go to Pivskoe lake. In winter, both routes described above are not available!!!

•     Vidikovac Kanjon Tare / Viewpoint Tara Canyon - in the internet this panoramic point is offered as part of the overview of the Tara Canyon viewpoints. So here it is worth going only if you are passing from Zabljak in Pluzine. The views here are beautiful, but there is nothing special and the river is not visible at all.
•     Sušičko jezero (Sušičko lake) - beautiful high-mountain lake, many times better than Bukumirsko Lake) The lake has a great photogenic! But you should take into account that you should go here immediately after snow melting - at the end of May! Then there will be an "aquarium effect" in the water, and the water itself will be) In summer, they say, Sušičko lake almost dries up.
•     Vidikovac kanjon Susice (canyon of Susica river) - this is an observation point with breathtaking views! It is very beautiful).

In other words, this route is a must in the second half of May, and in summer it is better to go through the saddle of Piva.
