We offer a non-trivial route that will appeal to young and old alike. It will be interesting for children and their parents! Time of the route described below will take all daylight, provided the start at 8-9 am. Dinner will be at sunset or at night) The route on the map below:

Only come to admire the views and take beautiful pictures. On the map below, points A and B are shown as options for places where there is a beautiful view. The first quarry - point A - does not make sense to look at and distracted by it, although it is on the way. Although this is where vacationers come to the beach in the summer. So this is the bowl of the quarry that has already been worked off.

Point B is a view of Novoselovsky (Kharkov) quarry. To be more precise, on the map point B indicates exactly the turn to the right to the "observation deck. The road after the turn is a road of dirt! It is better not to go after rain! To see the quarry you will get from the top, as to go down will be possible, but will kick out with the probability of 100%, it's only a matter of time)

Feldman Ecopark is a landscape park, zoo and amusement park - 3 in 1

Lifehacks: The park is open year-round from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. But it's best to visit on a weekday morning in the warm, sunny weather of May, when everything is blooming and smelling, or during the velvet autumn season. On weekends and after 2 pm there are already crowds of people. This also applies to parking spaces, they are there, but in limited numbers. In the cold season, some of the animals can only be seen through the glass. And of course the landscape park is better to walk around when everything is green and blooming than to look at bald sticks and mud with snow kneading underfoot. As stated on the site, the entrance to the park from the side of the village of Lesnoe - NO. This is also true of Google maps and the navigator. When you drive on the county road and see the big letters of the park's name, you need to go a little farther. There will be an unmarked left turn. As soon as you turn left you will immediately see the parking lot and the entrance to the park. Parking and admission to the park is FREE (info for 2021)! There are even free guided tours, but you need to sign up by phone at the official website. There is also a free shuttle from Kharkov. All in all, Feldman, the creator of the park, is a unique person!

In appearance and organization, the ecopark reminds something of the zoo in Krakow (Poland). You can safely recommend to go here! Animals of course not all are in large areas. Predators clearly lack space. They may be in large, but still in cages. They are all well-fed here, and the park is free! The raptors have food "carcasses" lying around, and the cloven-hoofed animals are also fed by park visitors. Food for the animals is sold at the entrance and at some of the cages on site. You can even feed apples and carrots to the bears here! The park also has many attractions and playgrounds for children, and there is a "touching / contact zoo". Also on the territory there are many cafes where you can have a snack or a full meal, albeit not restaurants, but still)

The park is quite expansive in area with equipped alleys and benches. At the end of the park is also a lake with a path in a circle. After the winter, the views are so-so and the road is all muddy, but in the summer it is clearly a great place to take a walk. By the way, there are two more lakes, but on the internet they say they are more wild than the first lake adjacent to the park. The entire park is in the woods, with trees all around - great place!!! Make a minimum of 2 hours to visit the entire park, and if with a walk around the lake, at least 3 hours.

The park is poorly navigated, there are no signs and marked routes. But if you abstract, there are three main directions from the entrance, which can be taken for directions through the park. There are exits to the lake, in principle, along the entire shore, but at the edges of the park there are "civil" paths)

Gorky Park in Kharkov is a mixture of a landscape park and amusement rides.

This place is a must-see when you are in Kharkov. It is interesting for both children and adults! On the map below you can see the structure of the park. The park is free. Parking in the area is paid and you may need to stand in line from 10 minutes on a weekday!!! What's the deal with parking spaces here for holidays and weekends???)) To say that there is a place to park outside the park is also difficult) Parking spaces are available, even free, but they are also busy) Since we go here after the ecopark, it will be the second part of the day, so you can not count on free space without waiting in line. But in fact, this is a trifle, and the question of parking is solved quickly and not expensive.

The park can be divided into two parts. The busier and more interesting part is where the Ferris wheel and all the rides are concentrated. The lake is somewhere in the geographical middle of the park, but closer to the end of the walking part, where there is something to see. So, when we come to the park, we go to the lake, and from the lake we go to the left to the Ferris wheel. From it you can see not only the park, but Kharkov as a whole. The ferris wheel is also interesting for adults. There is a roller coaster for kids and adults!) In other words there is enough amusement rides for every age. There are several ticket booths scattered throughout the park, so you can buy all the tickets to an attraction anywhere in the park in one place. Prices for rides in Gorky Park are loyally low. There are places for a snack and a full lunch. Of course there are a lot of benches and places to relax. There are a lot of people too)) After riding on the rides we go to the lower rope station. Here we buy a one-way ticket (there is no return ticket). Get in and enjoy the ride 20-30 minutes one way! The ride goes without stops and transfers to the upper station. No special views, but a ride and a break from walking in the park is very nice) There is nothing to do up there at all! So, we go straight to the line and there we buy a ticket to the back. The ticket office is right in front of the boarding place. It is possible to take a turn and go buy a ticket in advance. We come back to the park to the lower rope station and move to the panoramic cafe for dinner for the evening relaxation).

Kharkiv Palace Hotel is the landmark. Near it there is a parking lot, but it is paid and not cheap compared to other places. At the hotel we go up to the 11th floor - a restaurant / cafe "Sky Lounge". The place is not cheap, the level of Cost in Dnipro. For two dishes and desserts from 1500 UAH. But the service and the quality of food at the top! Inside the restaurant is cozy, but during the warm season it is better on the terrace. It is great to have dinner at sunset or later, when the whole city is glowing. From here you can almost see Kharkov as if on the palm) The terrace is covered and sideways fenced with glass, so that even the wind does not blow. The terrace is semi-circular, so you can see the city from several sides.

The day spent by the above scenario is very rich and logically complete. For the sake of such a day you should definitely go to Kharkov!
