Palolem beach - what to do?
What else can you do at Palolem Beach - swim during the day, walk in the evening. At low tide, you can go to an island nearby. They call it butterfly island. We went to the island at low tide, walked to the left along the path to the pier. And saw a picture of the local fauna there - snakes, 4 species, and we wanted to swim back. The road back on the same path seemed twice as long) There is nothing to see on the island, there are no butterflies and monkeys, no views from the island.
You can walk to Putnam beach, indicated on the map with arrows. There is a path along the shore. But there is nothing to see there either.
The center of the beach is located a little to the left, if you look at the map. The photo shows a tall pole with a bright lantern in the "center" of the beach. On the map the "center" is marked with a square.
But to walk along Palolem beach in the evening and meet the sunset, sitting in a comfortable chair is a must for everyone and every day!
