Alanya is a beautiful city in Turkey with enough attractions

Alanya has a very good combination of "package holiday seals" and exploring new places by inquisitive tourists. So the top - 5 attractions of Alanya (the others are essentially "pulled by the ears"): Cleopatra Beach (1), Alanya Fortress (2), Kizil Kule Red Tower (3), the harbor (4), the observation deck - the letters Alanya (5).

1) Cleopatra Beach is without exaggeration a good place to relax. It combines everything - the beach and the evening promenade.

The beach is a long strip of clean sand with a smooth entry into the water. The beach is wide enough to have a lot of space and yet looks cozy.  Evening promenade is a walk along the beach along the equipped alley. It takes about 1-1.5 hours walking one way. The alley is equipped: there are cafes, benches, landscaping and of course the beautiful views of the sea and though small, but the mountain.

On the other side of the "mountain with the fortress of Alanya" also has a beach strip and long and wide...but there is no coziness and wind blows. So it is highly recommended to choose a hotel from the middle of Cleopatra beach and up to the mountain inclusive. This way you have access to everything - the beach, the promenade, transport, proximity to attractions. Four attractions can be seen within a half day. We move from Cleopatra Beach to Alanya Fortress.

2) Fortress of Alanya is a ruined structure, the remains of the walls offer spectacular views.

At the foot of the mountain there is an elevator that takes you to the top. It is advisable to take a one-way ticket only if you want to see all 1-4 sights at once. The views at the top are gorgeous. You can walk to the fortress (there are signs everywhere). Inside the entrance is paid, but you can not go in, there are enough views around. Then walk down the serpentine road to the Red Tower (there is one road, don't get lost, there will be a sign below where to turn).

3) Kyzyl Kule Red Tower - a beautiful, well-preserved structure

There is a fee to enter the Kyzyl Kule Tower. But you don't have to go in either, otherwise you will have to climb a bunch of stairs, and you won't get much new views in the end. From the Red Tower immediately begins the harbor of Alanya.

Красная башня Аланья - достопримечательность №3 (Турция)

4) Harbor Harbor - you can take a walk on the sea along the waterfront, or you can just walk around

The bay is lined with a large number of boats and pleasure boats, stylishly decorated to look like pirates. If you compare the promenade along the bay and Cleopatra Beach, Cleopatra Beach wins in views and comfort. The harbor is interesting only for the presence of boats. So it is not particularly cozy and poorly equipped in terms of cafes and entertainment. You can return to Cleopatra Beach by taking bus/shuttle 101.

Аланья гавань - достопримечательность №4 (Турция)

5) Panorama of Alanya (view from the observation deck "Alanya letters")

You can get there by car, there is nothing to tell) Or you can walk! Walking will give you at least a little more insight into the local color and not just "Package Turkey in a hotel". As you walk away from the waterfront, the hotels end and the residential homes of locals and condominiums of "out-of-town locals" begin. The streets are cozy with avocados and citrus trees. There are huge Turkish flags hanging on the houses in many places, which is quite interesting). The drive to the top takes about 1.5-2 hours at a leisurely pace. At the top there is a beautiful park area, a cafe and of course a panoramic platform with views!

If you are in Alanya, all the above attractions are a must-see. The rest are optional - marketing works, you need something to occupy the visitors)
