Vikos Canyon is a picturesque canyon in Greece

There are several viewpoints to view the canyon. We chose Beloi Viewpoint, one of the most scenic viewpoints in the canyon. The asphalt road gently transitioned to dirt road, and we took it all the way to the cul-de-sac, otherwise it was a long walk. We parked at the start of the trail to the viewpoint. According to the signs it was about a 30 minute walk one way. The trail is easy, in the clean air - beautiful.

Eventually we reached the observation deck - which took our breath away. The canyon is huge and gorgeous. If you're passing through it, be sure to stop by to admire the views. The only special trip here is if you're going on a hike through Vikos Gorge itself below. You will need a guide for the hiking route.
