Partenit and Gurzuf are villages located on either side of Ayu-Dag Mountain (Bear Mountain).

Both settlements are among the more expensive housing, especially Gurzuf. But it is worth it. Both settlements are recommended to visit because of their attractions. Also both can be recommended for a long vacation. Beautiful views, the convenient location of housing - the availability of close housing to the sea, more or less developed infrastructure, unlike other settlements of Greater Yalta.

Partenit attractions:

  •     Aivazovsky Park - Park Partenit - Paradise Park (name synonymous) - must visit at least once. A beautiful large park, not worse than the botanical garden. Entrance fee (information in 2008). Through the park you can go down to the water on foot, and back on the shuttle. The beach is small, unremarkable.
  •     City beach Partenit is a pile of mala, not even worth your attention.
  •     The park and the beach under Ayu-Dag Mountain is quite nice and cozy. We recommend visiting it if you wish to settle in Partenit.
  •     From Partenit there are eco-trails to the Bear Mountain.

Gurzuf sights:

  •     Gurzuf embankment is in second place after the Yalta embankment in the Crimea! It is long enough, equipped and picturesque. It is a must-see in the evening.
  •     Gurzuf Park is a great place for a walk on a hot day. It is immersed in greenery - no heat from the sun at all. Quite well equipped, including beautiful statues and fountains, such as the Goddess of Night. There is a charge for admission. We recommend at least once to visit.
  •     Bear Mountain looks beautiful just from the trailhead.
