Is Venice worth the trip?

Venice or mass psychosis, there's no other word for it!

If you have a tour of Europe, it's certainly worth coming here, but just for one day, no more. You definitely shouldn't fly here for a week of "relaxation".

  •     Which route should I choose? - Definitely route C.
  •     The most beautiful parts on the route C and in the whole park are near the entrance 1, on the left about 300 meters are the observation decks and the path from the large waterfall to the crossing 1. Route C is supposedly designed for 4-6 hours, in fact it is 3 hours.
  •     Is it worth choosing the longest route? - No.
  •     Entrance to Plitvice Lakes costs 35 euros - for what? For transportation around the park)

Plitvice Lakes - free entrance

Plitvice Lakes in Croatia - another scam for tourists. From June 2019 35 euros + online time booking - for what?

Free entrance to Plitvice Lakes:

1 - from entrance 2 to entrance 1 along the road where you drive through and see a bunch of signs to Plitvice Lakes, these are all free entrances!!! No fences, no fences and what's more, in places there are even trampled paths right off the road.
2 - an even more interesting free entrance - there are cabins at checkpoint 1, the extreme right one is the ticket office and there is a man standing there checking tickets. To his left there is a cabin with information and maps of routes, even more to the left is a store. So in between is free admission, which no one monitors!!!!

And it's not even the fact that you can go for free, but the fact that the Plitvice Lakes don't cost 35 euros!!! It is free to go here)

Bakhchisaray (Crimea) attractions

Bakhchisaray (Crimea) reminiscent of Cappadocia in Turkey with its valleys and stone figures.

This is a must-see if you like walking and ancient cities:

  •     Cufut Qale - you can drive up by car almost under the very entrance to the territory. Entrance fee. Visiting time is 3-4 hours. Tourist place.
  •     Tepe-Kermen - only a hike. There / back about 7 hours. Few people know about this cave city and few people go to visit it. So if you go, you can enjoy the nature without the crowds of people.

Both ancient cities are poorly preserved, everything is almost destroyed. But the panoramas everywhere are gorgeous. It is better to visit Bakhchisaray in late May or in September, so you won't catch the scorching sun and rain.

Balaklava (Crimea) attractions

Balaklava bay is a beautiful promenade and the Genoese fortress Cembalo. Panoramic photos are excellent, even on a soapbox 10 years ago) But the main thing here is the positive energy, which gives peace of mind)

Simeiz and Katsiveli (Crimea) attractions

Simeiz is a beautiful natural town in the Crimea. We don't recommend you to stay here on vacation at all. However, you must visit this town because of the special panoramic views - they are the attractions of Simeiz:

  •     Cat Mountain. On the left side, you can admire the whole town of Simeiz - a gorgeous panorama. On the right will open up a view of the village Katsiveli in the distance and close up view of the water park "Blue Bay.
  •     Rock Diva on the beach - a review point on the chic Crimean coast. Be sure not to be lazy, climb the steps to the very top. Climb fairly comfortable for all, though slightly steep.
  •     Water park "Blue Lagoon" is a great place for entertainment.

Is it worth to go to Odessa in winter?

Is it worth to go to Odessa in winter? - No, definitely not. Odessa is a port city on the Black Sea. That is, you can come here for a walk, but in the warm season. To go here for beach rest...too doubtful pleasure. It is better to come in a velvet season and that only for a weekend.

Sudak (Crimea) attractions

Sudak is more of a tourist than a resort town of Crimea. The city is best visited while vacationing in Novy Svet or Koktebel, which are more suitable for relaxation.

Sudak sights:

  •     The Genoese fortress of Sudak - preserved slightly, but it looks spectacular and large-scale. But the main thing is the views that open from its edges: in the east - is the view of the entire embankment of Sudak, in the west - the road to the New World - a delightful serpentine! We recommend a visit for sure.
  •     Quay - it is quite nice to walk along the whole coast on a warm autumn day)

Koktebel (Crimea) attractions

Koktebel is the Crimean cradle - a perfect place for a beach holiday and hiking. You can come here at any time of the year.

Attractions of Koktebel:

  •     Promenade - the whole promenade from Kara-Dag Mountain to the mountain of the other side of the village of Koktebel is a fully equipped walking path (3-4 km).
  •     Kara-Dag is a mountain/reserve. Definitely recommend a visit. Walk with a guide for about 5 hours.
  •     Walk Ordzhonikidze - Koktebel - independent walking tour for 6 hours. We recommend to walk in the Velvet season.

Novy Svet (Crimea) attractions

Novy Svet is a magical and unforgettable place in the Crimea. It is obligatory to visit, can be classified as one of the top attractions of the Crimea:

  •     Golitsin Trail - Easy to walk and very picturesque in views. Must visit.
  •     Chaliapin's Grotto - Quite an ordinary grotto - wine vault, will be on the way on the Golitsin Trail.
  •     Cape Kapchik - There is a magnificent juniper grove to the cape. From the cape there is a panorama of the Golitsin trail.
  •     Champagne Wine Factory "Novyi Svet" - it is important to have a guided tour of the factory - fascinating and informative.
  •     Climbing the mountain Koba-Kaya - a chic panorama of the whole New World and the neighborhood. It is a must to visit.
  •     Czar's beach is a lure for tourists.
